The proceedings got underway on stage with a group of soon-to-be graduates singing the national anthem ‘a cappella’. Then WHS Principal Eileen Sheehy spoke. In her remarks Sheehy acknowledged the Wells-Ogunquit communities for their time and support including $125,000 given this year for scholarships. She also highlighted the numerous academic, artistic, athletic and other achievements and success of the Class of 2017. Sheehy also noted the ‘giveback’ efforts of class members to the community.
