Wells Players Tackle Murder Mystery at Wells High School

Post date: Nov 09, 2012 2:32:50 PM

Over a four day period beginning November 14th, the Wells Players will be presenting the stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel “And Then There Were None” in the Olenn Auditorium at WHS.

The play is directed by Andy Lopez who has directed numerous plays and musicals in the past decade at WHS.

“I like the play,” said Lopez who admires the structure of the script. “It is the archetype upon which all murder mysteries are based in my opinion. The writing is good. There is a lot I can do with the characters.” And, Lopez adds, “there is a lot of room for comedy within the seriousness.”

The first performance is an open dress rehearsal scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 3:30. Ticket prices for this performance are $5 with free admission for senior citizens. The other performances are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:00 pm. Prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
