Wells High School Alumnus Graduates College with 4.0 GPA and Receives Special Award for Academic Achievement

In August of 2012, Andrew Mark Beaulieu, a 2008 graduate of Wells High School, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Beaulieu graduated summa cum laude with a perfect grade point average (GPA) of 4.0. For his overall high academic achievement, he received the Beatty Award from Wentworth’s Alumni Association. This award is named for Dr. H. Russell Beatty, former President of Wentworth Institute of Technology. Beaulieu is now working as an Associate Electrical Engineer in the Advanced Systems and Technology Department of iRobot Corporation in Bedford, Massachusetts. Besides work he plans to continue taking classes to further his education. Beaulieu is the son of Mark A. and Pamela J. Beaulieu of Wells. He has a sister Jessica.
