A colleague stated, “Mr. Griffin believes in a model of shared leadership and will use this paradigm of collaboration to ensure that there is an environment that supports the learning, social, and emotional needs of each and every student. “

The search process began on June 1st with a faculty meeting to gather input about the attributes desired in a new principal. Two committees were formed of highly respected teachers, parents, a school committee member, and administrators. The selection committee met on June 22nd to review applications and selected three candidates to interview. After a round of interviews with highly qualified candidates by a separate committee on June 29th, one finalist was forwarded to Superintendent Daly.
