Project Graduation for Wells High School will be presenting a “Monster Dash” and a “Fall Festival” October 3rd to raise funds for the Class of 2016's June graduation celebrations.

The Monster Dash will begin at 9:00 a.m. (onsite registration at 8:00 a.m.) at the Eastern Shore Beach Parking Lot located at the end of Atlantic Avenue in Wells. The race will end at the front of Wells Junior High School at 1470 Post Road (Rt. 1) with prizes awarded in various categories.

It should be a memorable sight for passers-by as dash participants have the option of wearing a monster-like costume while running. Registration is $20 per person with children 4 and under free. Pre-registration for the Monster Dash is available during normal business hours at the Superintendent’s Office for the Wells-Ogunquit CSD located at 1460 Post Road in Wells.

The first 100 runners to register for the Monster Dash will receive a specially created Monster Dash t-shirt. In addition, Project Graduation will also be handing out coupons to ALL race participants redeemable for a free t-shirt from any Olympia Sports store.

The Fall Festival runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Ward Gymnasium at Wells Junior High School. At this event there will be new and gently used Halloween costumes and other items for purchase, 50 baskets in a basket raffle, plus games and prizes for children. There will also be baked goods plus other food and beverages available for sale. As an added treat there will be a “make your own sundae” table presented by Rose Cove Restaurant.
