It's 1959, and the too-cool-for-school "Burger Palace Boys" and "Pink Ladies" are stealing hub-caps and acting tough. This rollicking musical is both a homage to the idealism of the fifties and a satire of high-schoolers' age-old desire to be rebellious. At the heart of the story is the romance between hot-rodding Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. Their secret summer romance becomes complicated now that school is back in session. The whole gang sings and dances around Danny and Sandy's romance, through such hit songs as "Greased Lightnin'", "We Go Together", and "You're the One That I Want". Starting off with an eight-year Broadway run, "Grease" is among the world's most popular musicals with an almost cult-like following.

The production is directed by Andrew Lopez and involves over 60 cast and crew members. "Grease" book, music and lyrics are written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey and it is presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
